Our Skills & Drills sessions are there to provide an opportunity to practice those tricks and roller disco moves that you want to master and perfect. The ones that maybe need a nice smooth surface or a bit more time and space than you get during a busy roller disco. We are not able to offer tuition as we are not qualified coaches – these sessions are about self-training and development, socialising with other skaters and perhaps listening to any tips and advice they might have.
We use half the sports hall at Yarborough Leisure Centre and limit numbers to no more than 20 adults per session (these are sessions for 16 years and older), we leave the disco lights at home and there is also no skate hire so you must bring your own skates and pads. Come along and practice with like minded skaters, bring along a set of youtube instructional videos or work your way through a list of moves like this one and lose yourself to skating for a couple of hours.
