Friday Night Skate – 17th June

SK8S regular Friday night skate at Yarborough Leisure Centre – 17th June

This event has been cancelled, if you have aleady booked tickets you should have been contacted directly via email regarding your refund.

It looks like its going to be ridiculously hot at the time we would normally run the roller disco this Friday – far too hot for lots of people to skate in the sports hall for more than a couple of mins before having to either take a break or melt into a puddle of sweat that a bunch of people slip on and fall. We are going to check the weather forecast in the morning to see if anything changes but if not, it looks likely we will cancel this event – we don’t expect there will be many people that want to come along and skate anyway though. Anyone who has booked tickets will get a refund.

All ages and abilities welcome but under 8s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets and skate hire can be purchased in advance and will mean you get priority entry when the event opens. Sadly we cannot currently support reservation of a particular hire skate size – if booking skate hire in advance we recommend you turn up promptly so you can take advantage of prioritised entry. Skaters can use their own skates provided they are clean and have wheels and brake blocks that will not mark the floor. Online ticket sales will stop at 3.00pm on the day but if there is capacity, then tickets can be bought on the door.
